CONCEPT

Standard Cylindrical Grinding Machine with 2-axes NC control (1-axis simultaneously control) having Automatic dress and dress compensation as well as compensation function is included.

Feature

・Automatic grinding process data function for suitable dress condition and grinding condition by wheel grit, wheel width and final sizing amount.

・AC servo motor and infeed axis scale feed back are standard and used on the Work spindle and Grinding spindle. Also table enclosure is standard for stable grinding condition and working environment.

・First Cylindrical grinding machine to use double V slideways to achieve higher striaghtness.

・Longitudinal and Cross axis use a manual pulse generator, for easy operation like a conventional machine.

・Contouring grinding for cold forging punch requires accurate 2-axes synchronization. Okamoto developed programming software EDELAC Win is option to make complex programming work simplier and easier.

CONCEPT

Faster Grinding time with O.D. & Face grinding or step grinding work as simultaneously

Feature

・Using angulat contact ball bearings on the spingle, increase rigidity on the axis for face grinding. Also, radial axis keep rigidity for grinding hard materials without warp.

・Spindle fixed at 30 degrees in the right direction, allows for the use of a wider length grinding wheel to grind the face and O.D. together.

・Machine has interrupt dress function, manual grinding mode for single lot even on a machine developed for mass production.
